In its fifth year of operation, the print-on-demand drop shipping company Printful hit a new milestone this spring with the printing of its five-millionth product.

Although 5,000,000 is a substantial amount and a considerable jump from the one-millionth printed t-shirt in 2016, Printful's new milestone is more than just an impressive metric.

This figure is the result of strategic decisions in recent years including the expansion of their catalog, lowering prices for several products, new integrations with ecommerce platforms and marketplaces, improvements to the Printful user experience, and other important updates.

Consequently, the 5 million milestone reflects not only quantity and speed, but also the quality of production. This achievement hints at the future plans for growth that the company has in store. Among the top priorities are growing Printful’s European presence, advancing into other global markets, and preparing for an IPO.

As well as 5 million printed products, Printful has over 590,000 registered users, 140 products and more than 3,500 product variations, and an international team of close to 400 employees across all three locations in Latvia and the US.
